WORK

Building Ruin explores ecological reclamation, environmental architecture, and conceptual mark-making. The drawings confront the illusion of permanence in the realms of the human and non-human. At the heart of this project is a deep embrace of ephemerality and physical entropy. Rendered through meticulous ballpoint pen on highly acidic, fragile newsprint, the physical drawings are designed to degrade. They are offered to collectors not as immortal assets, but as living, temporary experiences meant to fade, yellow, and deteriorate over time. As living works, they will coexist and decompose with their collectors.
