I'm starting on new graphic works. I'll be documenting them here on my website and in this here web-log. I couldn't shorten "Weblog" to blog. I'd prefer to uplift two primary elements of influence on my work: webs (the spider-made kind) and logs (of the wooden variety). For each building structure I design, I question where the spiders might live. Once the structure is complete I'd like to think they can take up residence wherever they like. I'm sure several perished in the making of the thing. Or certainly, several spider homes were disturbed or destroyed. Plants trampled and crushed. Perhaps a tree or two cleared. Made into logs. Starting this weblog off right I think... admitting I am a maker burdened with guilt.
